Tango Charlie Gallery

That's my boat. I got this boat for "free" from the marina at the local Navy base. It did not have a motor, but I bought one from the marina manager. That's when it ended being "free." Its an old 6hp Evinrude but it runs like a champ. The sails are old too. I had to take the main to the local sail loft, Baxter Sails, for a quick and dirty patch job, after the main blew out at one of the battens. There is still quite a bit of work to do on the old girl, I'll eventually have her looking sharp once again.

Hi Dick. Bottom painting is a thankless task! But I know that the boat loved it. Next big job is to pull the boat again and fix up some of the topside fiberglass around some of the lifeline stanchions. At least she is seaworthy and who needs lifelines anyways. lol.

Nice work on the bottom job. That reminds me, mine needs it too but will have to wait 'til Spring!
