Top image: The blue/green dot in the center of the image is not a lens anomaly. It's a UFO at very high altitude. Note that the lens flare on the left has seven sides due to the shape of the lens diaphragm.
Bottom image: Here is the UFO at high magnification (black and white conversion with a red filter). Clearly, that's a three-dimensional object. In contrast to the lens flare in the top photo, this object appears to have a flat front with sides that angle away to a fully curved backside. There also appears to be a larger, darker spherical shape above it.
What is it? Most likely a weather balloon or other balloon with a scientific instrument package. Bandelier is adjacent to the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where a lot of classified research happens.
