Playing with Dynamite
Don't panic! It's not real dynamite, just a toy that dad rolled in catnip for me!
This is the first time I've played with anything in a very long time. Healthwise, the last few weeks have been a real slog for everyone. Despite the moment of play, my glucose levels were catastrophically high (over 600) at my afternoon check-up!

In the Sunlight
Laying in the sunlight after snuggling with my catnip toy. We've upped my insulin dose and that brought my glucose levels down to a tolerable level.
Now the trick is to ensure that things don't swing too far in the opposite direction into low blood sugar. We've been at this dosage before and that's what happened.
There is this very dynamic relationship between insulin, glucose levels, and food intake, but sometimes my pancreatitis flares up and throws everything out of balance.
We are on the mend now, though!

Watching TV with Mom
Dad went to bed early, so mom and I stayed up to watch an Antonio Banderas movie ("My Mom's New Boyfriend"). The movie wasn't that great, but that Antonio, he's quite the charmer! AND did you know, he did the voice over for Puss 'n' Boots? I mean, no one could replace dad, but just saying, a kitty wouldn't mind a warm cuddle with Mr. Banderas!

Laying on the Star Cards
Yesterday was a tough day. I hardly stirred or ate anything. Dad began giving me antibiotics for my digestive tract and by evening I noticeably improved. We skipped my nightly insulin injection because without much food in my system there is a danger of going into a low blood sugar condition, a very dangerous situation.
This morning I was doing much better and lay down with my paws touching a sheet of star cards (sacred geometric shapes).

Enjoying the Outdoors
Dad needed some sunshine and fresh air so I took him outside and walked him around the yard a few times.
Top: Enjoying the warmth of the patio bricks.
Middle: Laying on the concrete walk.
Bottom: Finding a cool spot of shade underneath a bush.

Zonked on the Biomat
Panthor loves sleeping on the Biomat in dad's office. A Biomat is essentially a deluxe "heating pad" embedded with amethyst crystals that produces negative ion and far infrared therapies.
Panthor sleeps for hours on the thing and has become a bit of a Biomat hog.
Note: The Biomat is under the bottom sheets, so even though you don't see it in this photo, it's there.

A Touch of Kitty Heaven
Talk about being pampered! Mom gives me a thorough brushing to clean out my coat and make it shine! Meow!!!

Drinking Big Girl Water from the Sink
Lately, I've enjoyed drinking water from the sink in mom's bathroom. Panthor does this all of the time, but it's way out of my jumping range, so mom or dad helps me up onto the counter--and back down again.
Dad calls this "drinking big girl water." I don't know why. I'm older than he is in kitty-cat years, for meows sake!
P.S.
I have not yet mastered the art of drinking running water from the tap. Actually, it kind of freaks me out.

Kitty in the Window
Sister Panthor likes to sit in the front window and watch birds go by.

Sniffing Plants
I took dad for a walk in the front yard and stopped to sniff a cinquefoil plant.

Catnip with Little Kitty
Dad rolled "Little Kitty" in catnip for my enjoyment. I do so love my catnip!

Waiting for Dad
Dad has been out of town on a family visit for a few days and is now on his way home from the airport. I'm waiting patiently in mom's lap for his arrival.
