A two-week trip to Uganda with Birding Ecotours in July 2013 featured birding and trekking for chimpanzees and mountain gorillas. We started in Entebbe and then traveled west to the Mabamba Swamp and Lake Mburo National Park. From there, we proceeded to extreme southwest Uganda to Mgahinga National Park, The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (for gorilla trekking), and to Kibale (for chimp trekking).
