A business trip to Thailand allowed two days of birding in the forest of Kaeng Krachen National Park. We we ably led by an outstanding young bird tour leader, Nick Upton (www.thaibirding.com). Birding the tropical forests is always challenging but we managed to see about 110 species in 2 days. Given this was a first trip to Asia, nearly everything we saw was new. Photography was equally challenging, but we were able to get some good shots of a few forest birds.
