A birding trip to the Edwards Plateau, Big Bend National Park, and the Davis Mountains with several friends targeted black-capped vireo, golden-cheeked warbler, Colima warbler, and Montezuma quail. We got all 4 and 250 total species in 10 days. Photography was not the main objective, but several species were fairly cooperative.
