I have just finished reading "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson. If was an excellent book and I highly recommend it to everyone, no matter if you take "snapshots" or "photographs". Anyway, there is a section on controling your depth of field and this is an experiement that I performed, just to prove it to myself going from f14 to f5.6...The first pic is the smallest apature, and the last is wide open on the kit lens. Please look at exif data for exact details
I'm glad that someone has used it. I'm thinking of re-doing the comparison since I have some faster lenses now. It's very noticable if you go from the kit lens to something like the 85mm that I have.
