A very contrasty scene, with sunlit snow and backlit thin clouds, and the very dark and humic water residing in deep shadows.
But still no clipping here either. In this processed picture, the highlights peak at average RGB 250, and the deepest shadows found rests at ca. RGB 5.
Provided developing from RAW, there's an excess of 0.5 EV headroom for tweaking DR to prevent clipping. Especially in the highlights.
That said, a correct basic exposure is still vital in scenes like this.
