Note the perfect "sun" that is the traffic light. Such rays are created when using small apertures, and the number of rays created
is dependent on the number of aperture blades in the lens. An odd number of blades (5-7-9...) creates twice the number of rays as the number of aperture blades.
An even number of blades (4-6-8...) creates the same number of rays as the aperture blades.
