Northern wolfsbane

The hairy stems on the Northern wolfsbane (Aconitum lycoctonum) really stands out towards the low evening sun.
This plant is highly toxic, containing the alkaloid lappaconitin, and if swallowed, it can cause severe cramps, paralysis and even death.
Actually, just touching it, and then put a finger in your mouth (like children may do) can be fatal.
