Bearded seal

A Bearded seal (Erignathus barbatus) along with Common eiders (Somateria mollissima), on the river bank at the outlet of the river Skallelva.
This is a big seal, reaching about 2.7 m in length, and weighing up to 430 kg. The female seal is larger than the male.
