Ancient granite ground, along the western shore of Ekkerøya, Varangerfjord, Finnmark county, norhternmost Norway.
Not far from here resides the oldest bedrock in the country (one of the oldest world wide), the mountain Hopen, 2900 million years old.
Here we had our tents on the far point on the other side of the fjord.
