Way back in 1969, Leonard Cohen released his album "Songs from a room", featuring the song "Bird on the wire".
I guess the low-key mood from that song still stands here, in the light drizzling rain along road 215 in SW Iceland.
A migrating Common snipe (Gallinago gallinago) met its brute fate in a barbed wire collision, during its fast low flight over the meadows.
