A full July moon rises over the surface on Mjøsa, the biggest lake in Norway.
It's so fully coloured due to its proximity to the horizon, and the warm and hazy summer air.
The Scandinavian midsummer nights don't get much darker than this, but stays dreamy, soft and blue...
Also note the tendency of mirage along the water surface, especially at the wooded point under the moon.
Picture taken one hour before midnight, free handed from a small swaying boat.
