Volcanic heat at the base of Gjuvtinden/2095m (our GPS measured height).
It sort of adds some extra tension to know that about a week earlier,
an earthquake measuring Richter 4,5 was registered just 50 km further east on the MAR from where we stand.
And there's been earthquakes on Iceland as well these days, on the opposite side of Jan Mayen...
