I am new to FL, I started planting my gardens, but I keep finding, many many half grayish b;ack , half orange baby snakes. they range from a few inches up to a foot long. They dig themselves under the dirt , very quickly. My husband says they are worms, but I have never seen a worm that moves so fast. thay are obviously babies, any idea what they are/?

I just saw a black snake with yellow stripes going down it's sides. I would like to know what kind of snake this is. I live in Florida.
