I live near a lake and we just moved into a new house and these things are everywhere inside. And they are HUGE. Never seen spiders this size before. One just ran into my closet and I'm afraid to go after him cause he scares the willies out of me. He's SUPER FAST. Anything I can do to get them out of the house?

This spider is mainly found very close to water such as streams, creeks and such. So I doubt it was this particular spider she saw. Spider bites are rare so it's doubtful it was a spider that bit her. Unless she was handling it or pressed it against her skin somehow. For information on venomous spiders see the Black Widow and Recluse Spider pages at http://www.floridabackyardspiders.com
