Came across a young one, Maybe 2' long at most. He was between the pool heater and chlorinator so I got a good look with pictures. Thought it was a pigmy rattler until looking closely at the pictures. He was less than 2' away from me. He went on his way and so did I.

I saw a 5 foot long one of these in my garden just a few days ago. I was brought up in the UK so this really freaked me out. But its great that I can now identify it. Keep up the good work
