Ringneck snakes are not aggressive non venomous butt there's saliva has a little Venom if they bite you it's like getting stung by a bee and it stings and burns a little bit nothing to be afraid of it won't hurt you

They may not bite, but I picked one out of my pool and he tried to clamp onto my finger. I just let him hand on since he wasn't hurting anything.

Hi, damn kitty just brought lil "ringer" in-it looked to be crying; tail blood red, not bleeding. May it survive?

Just released on from my pool in Miami Beach. 3rd one I have seen here. 12 inches and 1/2 diameter. All brown with yellow ring around neck. Lots of small frogs here. Food!

Also, he's only about the diameter of a small drinking straw.

This site helped me identify one I just found near Gainesville, FL. It's about 8 inches long. Not even trying to bite me; so tiny he might not be able to. Thank you for this site!

Very small 10 to 12 inches long with yellow ring around neck and belly is also yellow or yellowish with an orange hue. Non poisonous, eats earthworms, snails and tadpoles or very small frogs. I just scooped one out of the pool this morning.

Absolutely harmless, they do not even bite. They typically eat worms. And they have beautiful coloration, sometimes with pink hues.
