Overall the ROT, or Republic of Tatarstan is a dump with the primary inhabitants being wannabe gangsters and professional thieves unable or unwilling to make money by actually working for it. What I do not understand is that they work twice as hard to steal it, go figure?

Worst duty station I have ever had. Collectively a population with one big Self Esteem issue. Tatars are just sure that everyone thinks they are uncultured, self important, arrogant fatheads ........wait a minute!! Even the Russians hate them.
