Ashes The Rain And I

Orange, California

Sometimes I sit and I stare at the rain
Isn't rain filled with sorrow?
Wonder if I'll see my home again
Will it be dry tomorrow?

Time passes softly and I'm a day older
But still I'm living on days gone by
Ashes to ashes, the rain's turning colder
Finding tomorrow, the ashes, the rain and I

This image is so tranquil, I can see it hanging on my wall. All the greens are so inviting. The backdrop of fog adds to that tranquility. What is funny is that I really dig the way that one branch overhangs the upper corner. It is a perfect frame for this image.

This is quite sad ~ the shot filled with fog truly lends to the feeling of the lyrics.
