Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day - 25 April 2021.
Again in 2021 we used the 8x10 Pinhole Camera, with a 0.020 inches (0.51 mm) pinhole for an aperture of f/300.
Ye Olde Photographer stayed fairly close to home, but the weather was quite decent so he scoped out the latest activity at the Colebrookdale Railroad northern terminus in Boyertown. They are making great strides in enhancing this effort. A major improvement of the parking should be done shortly. And a small station has been built in Memorial Park in Pottstown at the southern end. YOP didn't get that far, but turned his attention to construction of a replacement bridge near his home.
In all, six shots were taken with Fuji HR-T X-ray film developed 3:30 in HC-110 1+63. Later these were contact printed on 8x10 Ilford Multigrade RC with a pearl surface. The results were quite satisfactory for a quick effort. The enlarger, a venerable Omega B-8 is just used as a light source. The resulting prints were scanned on a Canon MG6300 flatbed using VueScan.
The official WPPD submission should appear at this link.
