Thie page features the station at Mertztown, Berks County Pennsylvania. This was on the Reading Railroad East Penn Branch. Although it is rather tiny, a friend's Official Guide shows there were a dozen or so passenger trains stopping here circa 1915. Trains were routed from Harrisburg via Reading through here to Allentown and the Lehigh Valley, traveling further east to New York City. Passenger service is long gone, but there is currently a serious amount of Norfolk-Southern freight traffic through here.
Ye Olde Photographer began with running some 35 mm Kodak Panatomic-X through his Argus C-3 on Argus Day, August 20th 2020. And on Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day 28 April 2024 YoP used his homebrew 8x10 pinhole camera shooting Fuji HR-T X-ray film.
