Well, here we are in the R&D scrap bin! As can be seen, a bit of ad hoc engineering while cutting pieces, notably the 0.125 inch thick spacer on top of the body cap to get the shutter base plate above the body cap rim, resulted in serious vignetting. A couple of the openings in that stack of parts were too small in diameter. On top of that, doing a mirror image of the shutter base plate could permit ditching the little lever to fake-trip the camera shutter button.
