A large and vibrant city where ancient history is evident everywhere you look. The Vatican has a museum which contains all sorts of artifacts from earlier civilizations, some going back several thousand years. Anyone with interest in art and sculpture could spend a lot of time in that museum; and even a secular humanist cannot help but be amazed at the size and splendor of St. Peter's.
