The day began with each of the four demonstrating artists presenting slides about their work and the things that inspire them. We'll show a representative sampling here.

Following that, work resumed on the pieces started on Monday. Today's efforts covered more of the finishing operations, trimming, assembling pieces and all sorts of decorating and finishing techniques. (Too bad we couldn't meet in a week for firing and glazing!)

The day (and the pre-conference event) ended with a panel discussion on issues of sustainability. A few short and long term ideas for reducing environmental impact and energy consumption were discussed.
