Lititz is north of Lancaster a bit and was the home of Wilbur Chocolate among other things. The town has gone through some transitions but appears to be doing well. There is a nice park in the center of town and the former Reading Railroad passenger station is now a visitor center at one edge of the park. The Wilbur Chocolate operations, now owned by Cargill, have been moved to other locations in Pennsylvania and elsewhere. There is still a Wilbur retail store across from the former factory. The latter has been redeveloped into a hotel, condos, and apartments.
In a brief visit we wandered some of the town and the park, plus enjoyed a tasty lunch at the Appalachian Brewing Company on Water Street.
