A pleasant town on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River about fifty miles or so north of Harrisburg, at the junction of US 11 and PA 45. Much of the downtown is on the historic register and has some very nice homes. Perhaps it's from being a college town (home of Bucknell University ), but in any event, there are a surprising number of diverse restaurants in town. There are also a number of shops, galleries and antique markets.
