This was the "empty nester" retirement home for the couple who built a large, sprawling stone farmhouse
across the road from this cottage. The location is along the Manatawny Creek outside of Oley, Pennsylvania.
Oley is a few miles east of Reading, and the center of the town is on the Historic Register.
