Oil Field Gas Engine

Kinzers, Pennsylvania

This is a two-cylinder engine with a huge displacement -- around 6000 cubic inches as I recall. It generated approximately
100 horsepower at a little over 100 rpm. It was used to run drill rigs in early 20th century oil exploration. It
originally ran on natural gas but was adapted to run on gasoline when this photo was taken.
