#1218, built in 1943, is the sole survivor of 43
locomotives built from the 1930s to 1950s. They
were a 2-6-6-2 wheel configuration with four
cylinders and ran 300 PSI steam pressure. This
unit was retired from service in 1959, but
restored and ran in excursion service from
1987 to 1991, retired from excursions in 1994.
