But alas, profoundly disappointing — the lighter
glaze ran and badly, way worse than the #1 piece, and stuck
the base to the kiln shelf. The due process of removing the
piece broke some pieces out which were likely cracked by
differential shrinkage as the kiln cooled. Looks as though
some epoxy or Bondo is in order; these are merely planters.
