This is a 10.6 x 10.6 inch print hinged behind a 10.4 inch square opening. The original was
taken 15 July 2011 on Kodak 400TX film with a Bronica SQ-A and 110 mm f/4.5 Zenzanon PS 1:1 Macro
lens. The print is on Ilford MG Warmtone fiber based paper, toned with Kodak Brown Toner; in a
16x20 inch frame. The image is an upward angle view of the concrete and stone pier and plate
girder sides of the former Reading Railroad Perkiomen Branch bridge over the Schuylkill River
near Oaks, Pennsylvania. The view is taken from the Schuylkill River Trail, a recreational trail
that partially follows the right-of-way of the Pennsylvania Railroad Schuylkill Division.
Accepted into the August 2011 "Scenes of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area" art show and sale, a juried exhibition.
March 2012: exhibited in the Perkiomen Valley Art Center 50th Annual Membership Exhibition; 3rd Prize, Pro category.
