Above 9th Avenue out of Collegeville, the trail crosses Route 29. The
trail is laid out to cross perpendicular to the highway and has a striped walkway
indication, flashing lights and highway warning signs, but no traffic light.
Except during high traffic hours, this is generally not a problem. The railroad
used to angle across the road and disappear into the woods on the east side of 29.
