Here we see a painting in position. Vertical format paintings are photographed
on their sides rather than turning the camera and messing up the alignment. Rotating
the digital file 90º later is a trivial exercise. There are two strips above and below
the painting, one is an 11-step gray scale and the other has red. blue, yellow, black,
white and 18% gray patches to provide some references for post-processing.
