Bright Sun Aperture

Note the silvery tab at the top center, in front of the release
catch. Pulling this up reduces the lens aperture diameter to about half
of normal. This might be useful if one is taking pictures at the beach
or on snow in bright sun (or to use faster film in normal daylight).
