The Hershey Gardens are part of the great legacy of the man and the business for which the town is named. Roses were a specialty here and a number of varieties bear the Hershey name. This visit was late to catch roses in their prime, but there were still many in bloom. Most interesting perhaps was the Butterfly House. A garden enclosed with open weave fabric and full of plants known to attract butterflies. An airlock at each end allows visitors to go through without the butterflies getting away.
