Here are a few shots around Lock 25 of the Erie Canal, near the town of Clyde, New York. At this point the Clyde River runs very close to the canal and there is a guard lock sort of mechanism used to supply/adjust water in the canal. It was a nice sunny day on our September 2014 wanderings and offered an interesting juxtaposition of made-made versus natural. There is a fishing access area, May's Point nearby.
