Midday on Argust 23rd was in the low 80s (ºF!) and partially sunny. Ye Olde Photographer loaded the C-3 with a 20-exposure roll of Kodak Panatomic-X. That came from a bulk roll he has been playing with after receiving it as a gift. YOP set his Gossen Digisix to ISO 40 as a base, and used incident metering.

The time available was reduced by some other demands, but YOP drove up to Boyertown, the home of the Colebrookdale Railroad as a starting point. A while back, a Brill motorcar had been seen there, but it was hidden somewhere for this visit. There were no tourist operations on Argust 23rd, as it's a Wednesday and most railroad activity is on the weekends.

YOP took a number of shots of the station and its surroundings. This whole portion of the operation is a major overhaul of a former freight depot and small yard. In the past year or two there have been some relatively elegant and artistic touches added. Generally two exposures were taken of each shot, one a stop or so over exposed as this film was made circa 1986!

We then meandered homeward and developed the roll in Kodak HC110, Dilution H (1+63) for 9:30 at 70ºF. Thus far the negatives have been scanned but not wet printed. They were reasonably decent, and YOP generally preferred the ones with more exposure. The "official" submissions from multiple participants are viewable via the Argus Collectors Group site.

Remarkably, Ye Olde Photographer got through the roll with no double exposures and no skipped frames, an occasional hazard when switching back to this extremely manual camera.
