This was a quick visit to Antietam Lake Park, a county park in Berks County. The 14 acre lake was originally a reservoir for the city of Reading. The park is nearly a square mile of mostly woods that appears to have quite a number of trails, at least some open to mountain bikes and horses. Obviously it was off-season on this first visit, but in season there is a nature center and rest rooms, and an information board with trail maps.

The main significance of the origination of this gallery is that Ye Olde Photographer and his Faire Spouse were out hiking in mid-January 2020. A light, unlined jacket was quite sufficient for temperatures ranging above 60ºF!
