This is Claxton Drive near Montpelier. I'm afraid you'd be disappointed in what Cherry Lane looks like today. It's now 6 lanes wide. The top end near 95 has been connected to Contee road and makes a loop around the hospital.

This reminds me of what Cherry Lane must look like today. Our family visited relatives that lived on Cherry Lane in Laurel during the 50's and early 60's. It is amazing what has changed since those days.
Once upon a time Cherry Lane was an old macadam two lane road and the old house had nothing but woods around it and a sandy quarry nearby. One would never know today it ever existed at one time. Interstate 95 didn't exist.
