April Trip to loon mountain

Dad wanted to take us up to loon mountain for the weekend. Managed to get a lot in (but forgot the camera for a couple of things.

Dad likes to go places and eat out so I tried to bring him to all the good places I've learned since doing the Laconia thing.

Friday - Dinner at the Tilton diner on the way up (a trip down memory lane (I.e. happy days)
Saturday - Skiing at Loon the next day. Loon's not as handicapped friendly as I would have thought so it was pretty hard to care for dad, Jessie and ski with the kids but managed to have a great bunch of runs with Michael. Matt's starting a little slower. Left loon at ~4:30pm and drove to the base of Mt. Washington per dad's request. With all the logistics at loon forgot the camera and have no skiing pictures at all, not even Jessie on the started set :-((((. Dinner out at the river green complex was O.K but the waitress was slow as heck
Sunday - Drove up the Kanca' on Sunday and stopped at some of the plowed scenic stops. Dad was actually nervous about safety on the roads even though they were just wet so we cut that short. Headed to the Homestead for Easter dinner on Sunday. This is a great restaurant near Newfound lake that Leslie and I have done for years. What I didn't know was that on Easter they do reservation groups at 12:pm , 2:30pm and 5:pm. It was 1:30 and we were informed that the only open tables would be at 5:pm. I noticed a table for 6 and managed to strike a deal to be seated immediately and be out by 2:30 for the party that had the reservation. The food was awesome and the service was fast but perfect. We were eating in 15 minutes and had 45 to enjoy it!

Looks like everyone had a great time and Dad looks very good! I like the natural hair color! and you & Leslie look terrific! Happy Easter! ~Sue
