This is what the PC board on the sensor bar looked like after I had attached new wires.

I drilled small holes in the PC board where I wanted to attach the new wires, and ran the wires up from underneath.

I used 2 pair (4 wire) telephone wire for my replacement wire.


Telephone wire is in twisted pairs, to cut down on interference. I used the red-green pair to wire the sensor bar. I used the red wire for positive, and the green wire for negative. I just cut away the yellow and black wires.
