The cleft of the main cardioid of the Mandelbrot set is sometimes called "Elephant Valley" and the shapes found there are sometimes known as Elephants. This image captures some of those "elephant" shapes. If you use your imagination you might be able to see elephant-like creatures flying up from the lower left corner of the image, with their trunks raised and facing to the right.
