Thanks for your comment and vote for my blue-banded bee. This was the only bee on the plant, so I had to sit for a long time before it visited the flower right in front of me.

Great pics!! I ran across your link on the dpreview site while I was checking out which Nikon flash to buy. I especially liked the ones of MA as I was there last summer and miss it terribly!!!

I like your insect images very much. Would you consider submitting photos for a new field guide to North American insects that I am writing? Please contact me for details if this is of interest. Thank you, and keep up the great work! Eric,

I've always admired your work on dpreview and have just enjoyed your site. I remember you once listed how you have rigged the flash for your macro. Could you repeat it for me. I am interested in using 2 flash units with my D100 either with the 70-200VR with the Cannon D500 or my Nikkor 60macro. Any tips on hooking up the flashes and exposure would be appreciated.

Dear Duncan, your gift of "sight" is outstanding and breath taking... You make memorys stand out for all to see. I hope you are taking advantage of your tallents and going to Art Shows, where you can not only receive awards but people are allowed to pick and gather your vision and place them on there walls, to look at forever.*
