I seem to remember the GWG TV jingle went something like.... "And there's George W. Groovie, in his GWG's"

Note the white label on Dennis' pants : The "Great Western Garment" company or " GWG " . That seemed to be the major brand then. There were a few Levis but to be cool you had to have GWG's. That little square patch gave you the confidence to know that you were hip and in-the-groove. We would bale hay in the afternoon, wash the pants, then go to the dance in the evening wearing the same pants. We didn't have Hugo Boss,The Gap,Jordache,or Ralph Lauren then. United Colors of Benetton - fugedaboutit! We were manly men and we knew it. Yaarrrrhh!
