I would often find my mother in here during the fair. She'd always manage to give me another dollar. You could smoke in the bingo tent and take cover from the rain. Those cards were like quarter-inch plywood,durable. Those are lima beans covering the numbers,supplied by the bingo. This was before transparent markers. The coloured plastic chips were used for indoor bingo. A gust of October wind could displace even the beans. Long rows of hard stool seats bolted to planks,then spiked into ground for safety. Kids mischievously yelling "Bingo" as they passed. Let's go get another corn dog and some hard cider.
