Note the sign offering ice cream from the Caswell Dairy. That dairy was there in Simcoe a long time serving "hard" ice cream at the north end of town, on Norfolk Street just north of Hwy.3, while the "Tasty Freeze" served soft ice cream in the south,on Norfolk Street, near the then-named Whitehorse Plaza. This was well before the Dairy Queen came in 1970? I have no idea if they are now ancient history, or what? ...just memories...
