I know just how you feel. My name is Mike Edwards I entered the Army in Aug. 1969 out of High School ROTC. Went to fort Polk for basic D 4-1 Got to Fort Walters in Oct. 1969 and placed in snow birds. Waited until Jan. 1970 to go to the Hill. At that time I also along with 3 other snow birds voluntarily resigned and was eventually sent to Okinawa by way of Fort Lee. Still live in Okinawa since 1970. Went to flight training at areo club on Kadena Air Force on Okinawa. Yea you are right feel Young and stupid but still alive. Thanks for your input.
