These photos were taken at the Stark Lake mine assessment at the eastern end of Great Slave Lake in Canada's Northwest Territories. The assessment was conducted in August 2013, from the community of Lutsel K'e.

The assessment was conducted by Dillon Consulting, with contributions from KGS Group, Frontier Geosciences, Acsion Industries and the community of Lutsel K'e. Funding was provided by Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development in Yellowknife.
